This week’s flick is Hostiles and it comes with a 7.2 rating from IMDB. I generally agree with IMDB ratings where a 6 is good 7 and over is excellent and 5 can be good but is more subjective.
Hostiles is a western, but one that does not entirely fit in the classical mould. An army Captain who has spent his career fighting the native Indians has to escort a Cheyenne Chief to his ancestral home. This gritty film has a message of hope buried at it’s core.
Free on Netflix and rentable from various places.
